There’s no exact date yet for when people will be able to buy it again via Steam aside from “soon.About This Game The Way of the Samurai series is widely renowned for allowing players to make far-reaching decisions that can radically alter the course of the story and this, the fourth entry in this thrilling series and previously exclusive to the PS3, is no exception! Now all the sword wielding action, adventure and drama of the Way of the Samurai series comes to PC for the very first time, continuing the series’ blend of customization, exploration, action gameplay and quirky humour. Way of the Samurai 4 is immediately available on the PlayStation 3 and the PC via Steam. (Also, it doesn’t take itself too seriously.) It originally appeared on the PS3, but Ghostlight brought it to PCs worldwide in 2015. Depending on what you do, there are, multiple endings available. I see no reason why they couldn't bring the third here. Way of the Samurai 4, for instance, was released here in September 2015, 2 months after it was released on Steam. So far, Ghostlight has released all their Japanese games here (minus Mugen Souls) just some months after Steam. You choose what to do and who to ally with throughout the game over a period of just under an in-game week. I wouldn't compare Ghostlight to either of the above big companies. Way of the Samurai 4 is an action game where players become a samurai in Amihama and then decide how they want their “life” to go. We're aware that Way of the Samurai 4 is currently unavailable to buy on Steam, it should be back up soon. (DLC for the game can be purchased as usual and without any issues.) The publisher noted that “it should be back up soon.” However, it didn’t provide an explanation for why the “add to cart” option disappeared. Namely, people who visit the Steam product page might have noticed the ability to buy the game was gone. Ghostlight addressed a Way of the Samurai 4 Steam page hiccup via Twitter. ![]()
